Report on cyclone

On November 8, a steady tropical storm cyclone started that caused unprecedented floods both in the coastal and pastoral areas of Puntland. Due to the continuous rainfall of four days, a number of pastoral households have been unaccounted for.
According to local authority (the nomadic community elders), rains from the cyclone caused  human life loss, decimated livestock holdings, and destroyed houses and fishing boats. Water systems and roads have been affected.
