IDP's in Mogadishu

Internally Displaced People (IDPs) in the camps in and around Mogadishu, the Somali capital, face acute and constant shortage of water. Sometimes, families receive dry food rations, but have no water to cook it. Amoud Foundation has begun a program of free water distribution to the camps during the 2012 Ramadan. Seen in the accompanying pictures are Amoud Found  President Mohamoud Egal, Amoud Foundation Horn of Africa Representative Abdirahman Geeljire, Amoud Foundation Mogadishu Representative Abdihakim Sheikh Mukhtar, and local volunteers distributing water to the camps in Mogadishu.
